Psalm 1:1-6 (NIV)

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day
and night.

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in
season
and whose leaf does not wither, and whatever they do prospers.
Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the
assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the
wicked leads to destruction.

It’s  All About Your Journey:

Your Path In 2025:

Where are you headed in 2025? How will you get there?

Which Star will you follow?

Please understand that you, and me, are all headed home to
be with our Heavenly Father. The timing is up to God. But what
do you do in the meantime?

I encourage you to follow the Brightest Star, Jesus, which lights up  the world.
In John 8:12, Jesus said: ‘I am the Light of the world, and he who follows Me
shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

When you have the light of life, you will walk in awareness. Your path will
become very clear. Your focus will be on Christ, and you will avoid many of the pitfalls that take you in the wrong direction, away from God. For 2025, and beyond, I encourage you to choose the path of Christ which will bring you home to your heavenly Father. Therein lies your joy, peace and contentment as you journey home.

“As human beings, we need new beginnings, fresh starts, opportunities to shake off mistakes and look to the future with hope. Things can be different for you as you move forward, resting on the mercies of God which are new every day (Lamentations 3:23)”

As we mature in faith, our our mistakes become less frequent and severe. We grow to be like the blessed (or happy) man portrayed in Psalm 1, who has chosen not to walk, stand or sit with the ungodly. Instead, we make time for daily meditation in the Word (or Law of God). (Please read Psalm 1:1-6).

By consciously avoiding evil, persuing God’s Word, we become like  a tree planted by the riverside.  We will be rooted and grounded in our Faith, and we will grow and develop in such a way that we are not only nourished ourselves, but are able to nourish others.

May the Holy Spirit be your guide as you follow the Star that leads you home.
Amen!
