Lord’s Supper

This do in remembrance of Me:

“And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
1 Corinthians 11:24-25

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper to keep the memory of Christ’s suffering alive in our hearts. We invite all believers to join us in this celebration.

Baptism

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

“Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” John 1:32-35

Water Baptism is available to all who have repented of their sins and confessed the Lord Jesus Christ in their hearts. This is a symbolic expression of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We also encourage believers to seek the gift of the Holy Spirit which is essential for their spiritual growth and development.

Marriage

“Haven’t you read, he replied, that at the beginning the Creator made them male and female, and said, For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.” Matthew 19:4-6

We offer the Sacrament of Marriage to couples, who in accordance with the Scriptures, love each other and have made commitments to each to live together according to God’s laws.

Baby Christening

“People were also bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Luke 18:15-18

Following the example of Jesus, we encourage and welcome parents who bring their children to be dedicated to the Lord. The blessing of the Lord is an important gift in the life of an infant.

Ordination

“Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.” Acts 14:23

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service.” 1 Timothy 1:12

It is an honor to be called and chosen to serve in the kingdom of God, and in the local congregation. For believers who have accepted the call of God to serve in Ministry, and who desire to be a member of our church, we make provision for them to be ordained.
